What was once a one-car garage running from front to back and adjacent to the living room/dining room area was is now a large "Great Room" that includes a living area open to a new kitchen.
We replaced all of the flat, brown wooden interior doors with white, raised 6-panel doors. Clam shell molding was removed and replaced with more traditional style floor and window moldings as well.
The kitchen was opened-up and updated including recessed lighting.
